Welcome to the back room tech blog. I’m a professional network engineer, and I wanted a space where I could aggregate the various technical tools I encounter during my work.

I’ll also highlight various tidbits of information that IT professionals may find useful.

In my job I encounter many brilliant technical people who just can’t relate to users. Because of this, they are usually confined to the back room of the IT shop, where they can’t interact with customers.

You know who I’m talking about, the guys who recompile their kernels just for fun on a Friday night. They’ve always amazed me with their knowledge of the most minute details regarding hardware, software, and operating systems.

This site is dedicated to them, the back room techs.
